Main tasks and responsibilities:

- provide support in preparation of concept notes and project proposals, briefing notes and reports;

- ensure efficient monitoring of the implementation of the projects, analysis of the gaps and needs for additional financial resource and partnerships to be established;

- ensure full compliance with donor requirements and provision of timely advice to the programme team on those;

- communicate with donors and partners on start and implementation of the projects;

- engage in negotiations with partners, including national/ local state stakeholders, civil society organizations, corporate sector representatives, think-tanks etc.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Daily communications with staff members within the office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, General Directorate and Project.
• to identify the cutting-edge reports, studies, papers, interviews released by International Organisations, think-tanks and universities to keep the Project Manager updated on urban development and decentralization reform, as
• well as latest forward-looking ideas and analysis.
• to evaluate and monitor keynote speeches, editorials and best communication practices by prominent stakeholders in Ukraine.
• to prepare briefing notes, talking points, background material and key publications for the Project Manager and the Project team.
• to constantly analyse periodical news relating to the latest developments in urban development and decentralization reform in Ukraine.

Main tasks and responsibilities

- monitor and report on political and economic developments in Ukraine;

- contribute to increasing the visibility and understanding of OECD work, standards, and good practices through the dissemination of the substantive work carried out by the OECD in Ukraine, in all relevant national and international fora;

- strengthen relations and stakeholder engagement with representatives of Ukraine’s government, parliament, businesses, academia, and civil society;

- enhance co-operation and co-ordination with international partners and OECD Members active in Ukraine, namely the G7 Ambassadors Support Group for Ukraine, the EBRD, the IMF, and the European Union;

- support the implementation of Ukraine’s decentralisation reforms and regional development by increasing public-sector capacities through presentation of the OECD’s Ten Guidelines for Effective Decentralisation Conducive to Regional Development. The Guidelines are part of the OECD’s 2019 Report ‘Making Descentralization Work: a Handbook for Policy Makers’;

- provide a focal point for the co-ordination and monitoring the implementation of OECD recommendations

Main tasks and responsibilities

- Interregional and Cross-Border Cooperation (Chapter 27 “Cross-Border and Regional Cooperation” of Title V “Economic and Sector Cooperation”, Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine):

• enhancing cooperation between local and regional authorities of Ukraine and the EU through the contacts with the European Committee of the Regions (CoR);
• implementation of projects at the regional level funded by the EU financial instruments (European Neighbourhood Instrument) and EU financial institutions (European Investment Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development);
• participation in the implementation of Cross-border cooperation programmes, Eastern Partnership territorial cooperation programmes;
• participation in the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region and the Danube Transnational Programme;
• cooperation with the Joint Research Center of the European Commission in the development of regional strategies for smart specialization;
• involvement of the regions of Ukraine into the activities of European regional associations, namely: Regional Assembly of European regions, Council of European Municipalities and Regions, Conference of European Regional Legislative Assemblies, etc.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

- Ukraine – OECD Coordination Council.

- Economic and Investment Cooperation with OECD.

- OECD Project on Sector Competitiveness Strategy for Ukraine;

- cooperation with OECD experts in reforming the public administration system, carrying out the deregulation in the economy, management of state-owned enterprises and holding transparent privatization.

- collaboration with the OECD Council concerning joining by Ukraine the Declaration on International Investment and Multinational Enterprises, which is one of the key legal instruments of the OECD in foreign investment;

- joint work in the framework of ihe Second Investment Policy Review of Ukraine.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

- Responsible for implementing the International Group Projects' financial and disbursement works in compliance with being-valid regulations of the International Financial Institutions IFI (EBRD, WB, etc.).

- Evaluation of the cost and competence of the consultants’ work under IFI multilateral projects and programmes.
