TIS Summer Camp offered a unique and immersive experience, combining rigorous academic programs with engaging extracurricular activities. Based on the prestigious Canadian school curriculum, the camp is designed to enhance both academic knowledge and essential life skills. Campers were engaged in English language immersion with native speakers, leadership development, and personal growth workshops, while enjoying thrilling activities.

As an Additional Activity Leader, I had several key responsibilities, all of which they executed with professionalism and enthusiasm. These included overseeing campers, meeting children brought to school by parents in the morning, and handing them over after camp activities at the end of the day. They also accompanied groups during excursions, assisted the main Activity Leader during events, collaborated with Native Speakers, stayed with children during activities, and participated in meetings with management.

The project aimed to develop youth friendly spaces for young people fleeing the war from Ukraine in Timis county, building the confidence of young Ukrainians in the local community and vice versa, stimulating the participation of young people in the life of the local community, creating alternatives and positive opportunities for leisure and building a community-based protective network around them.

As a Youth Worker, my task was to be involved in activities as identifying the beneficiaries, informating them on the support and opportunities, raising awareness and activating young Ukrainians and Romanians, and facilitating their access to education.
