- Optimized SQL queries for a key analytics report used across all stores, eliminating 30-second timeouts on large datasets by rewriting nested subqueries and redundant joins. Built the backend for an administration panel to configure report tabs, columns, targets and actuals.
- Automated background jobs, email delivery with PDF attachments, Excel exports and scheduled planogram distribution. Implemented file monitoring services that triggered notifications when files were added, modified or deleted.
- Optimized a large legacy service by replacing nested loops with set-based SQL operations, consolidating repeated database calls into a single query and converting synchronous operations to asynchronous execution. Eliminated timeouts under load.
- Developed and maintained two Avalonia UI applications using MVVM, deployed in 10 and approximately 200 stores. Implemented receipt and label printing, communication through message queues, and offline operation with local storage and data synchronization. Separated test and production environments.
