Business Analyst/life science research

Candor Global Services is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with huge experience in life science research (cell biology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices) to join the US based BCC Research team.

As Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing consultative sales at C-level, identifying opportunities for custom consulting opportunities and delivering strategic and actionable insight through reports and presentations to an extensive client base. You will report to the Associate Director of Consulting and help drive the company’s consulting unit to develop new products and take them to market while simultaneously increasing the volume of custom revenue

Desired candidates possess:

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of market research principles and practices with demonstrated capabilities in both qualitative and quantitative research
• Strong analytical capabilities, ability to interpret and draw industry-relevant insight from multiple primary and secondary research sources
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the capability to interact across all levels (internal & external) and support decision-making
• Excellent multitasking capabilities and the ability to work effectively in an environment of tight deadlines and constant change
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy, consistency;
• Skills and Competencies:
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in relevant industry sector or business insights/industry analyst role with exposure to multiple research methodologies
• Assist Associate Director with driving new revenue streams through innovative product and service development
• Outstanding client management and account management skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of market research principles and practices with demonstrated capabilities in both qualitative and quantitative research
• Strong analytical capabilities, ability to interpret and draw industry-relevant insight from multiple primary and secondary research sources
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the capability to interact across all levels (internal & external) and support decision-making
• Excellent multitasking capabilities and the ability to work effectively in an environment of tight deadlines and constant change
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and quality
• Experience in life science research (cell biology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc.) is strongly preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide input on the strategic direction of BCC consulting service, and product roadmap;
• Provide ongoing proactive support to BCC’s business development function ;
• Being a key contributor to a successful and growing consulting team;
• Provide consultative sales at C-level, identifying opportunities for custom consulting opportunities;
• Deliver strategic and actionable insight through reports and presentations to an extensive client base;
• Manage the quality & consistency of analysis, insight and forecasting across multiple custom research projects simultaneously;
• Build and retain own industry research network;
• Provide ongoing mentoring to the BCC Research analyst team across both core analyst functions and leadership qualities;
• Represent BCC at external events and trade shows to expand client base
