Deputy CFO
Mission
Enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives. Provide best-in-class financial analysis and insights for business growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Work directly with CFO on various planning exercises, such as forecasting, profitability analysis, and reporting.
· Lead and manage the teams responsible for budgeting, treasury, auditing, and financial reporting.
· Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the company.
· Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
· Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s performance compared to the business plans.
· Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
· Conduct reviews and evaluations for profit-growth and cost-reduction opportunities.
· Improve fiscal health with thorough analyses of financial data: develop deep, actionable insights to drive business performance by monitoring variances and identifying trends.
· Develop forecast models based on comparative performance metrics and implement improvements as the business grows.
· Develop business cases to support pricing decisions and create innovative strategies for cost reduction.
· Establish and guide restructured cost analysis using fresh policies and procedures.
Requirements
· Deep technical skills - excel, data analysis, and automation.
· Several years of relevant experience at Big4.
· Experience analyzing financial data and developing profit-focused action plans, including trend forecasting and variance monitoring.
· Proficiency in data visualization and modeling.
· Expertise in IFRS, GAAP, and financial reporting requirements.
· ACCA or CFA qualification is a plus.
· English advanced level.
· Top-notch analytical and organizational skills.
· Works effectively across organizational lines and has strong writing and verbal skills.
