PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Project manager for packaging category at outsource position in McDonald’s Ukraine (promo campains, unique Ukrainian products or global initiatives). This role entails a dynamic combination of promotional expertise and strong project management skills.

This role includes supervising of every stage of the planning and production process, from concept development, planning, production, implementation, launch, to post-analysis. Effective coordination with relevant internal departments is essential throughout this process. This is collaborative work with the global Team of Account Managers to deliver best value and services to the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of projects dedicated to packaging: close work with marketing team, designer/agency, approval of layouts, control of the production process with supplier, control of deliveries process to warehouses and restaurants, control of raw materials and finished products stocks at supplier`s side.
• Conducting tenders, budgeting.
• Price analysis (control and approve prices, conduct price policy negotiations with local suppliers).
• Monitoring compliance with accepted standards/quality requirements/guides. 
• Understanding the basics of sales (polygraphy, types and features of printing).
• Coordination of activities along the entire supply chain.
• Following customer's business environment, strategies, and needs.
•  Bring big global initiatives into local context.
• To be the main contact for packaging in case of any issues or requests for the client and suppliers, to ensure the appropriate level of communication, coordination of packaging production processes, to provide information in a timely manner.
• Conduct business meetings review with local suppliers.
• Actively collaborate with European team to share best practices and to build competitive and innovative approach in providing services.
• Participation in new products development process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to provide informed advice to clients.
• work with circular economy and waste management projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree
• Upper-Intermediate (and higher) level in English
• 2-3+ years of experience in similar position preferably in the same field (advantage)
• Strong project management skills.
•  Analytical skills and talent for multi-tasking and managing competing priorities effectively.
• Effective communication skills.
• The ability to negotiate effectively.
• Understand the technological processes of food packaging production.
• Driving license B
