Senior Financial Accountant

The Senior Accountant will ensure the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of N-iX companies in accordance with local GAAPs and IFRS. This includes managing the month-end closing process, overseeing the work of outsourced accountants, and performing thorough reconciliations. The role is essential for ensuring all financial information is accurately and completely recorded, maintaining compliance with both local and international accounting standards.

Duties:

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local GAAPs and IFRS, as well as any other relevant regulatory requirements. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and ensure timely implementation within the company
• Month-End Closing: Lead and manage the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare, review, and post necessary journal entries for the month-end close
• Financial Reconciliations: Perform and review detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring all financial information aligns with supporting documents
• Review of Outsourced Accountants' Work: Oversee and review the work performed by outsourced accountants to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies. Provide guidance and feedback to external teams to ensure alignment of financial accounting to Group accounting policy
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all financial transactions and processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Upper-intermediate English
• ACCA (at least in progress)  or equivalent professional qualification will be a plus
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, experience with 1C, Microsoft D365 Business Central will be a plus
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex financial processes independently
