Junior General Ledger Accountant
Description:
We are looking for a motivated junior accountant to join our General Ledger team. In this role, you will support senior colleagues and collaborate closely with our international client, as well as with other internal departments, including AP, AR, Statutory Reporting and Tax. Your responsibilities will include preparing general ledger entries, performing account reconciliations and supporting month-end close activities across various accounting areas.
This position offers excellent learning opportunities and hands-on experience in a multinational environment.
We will trust you to:
Booking accruals, bank transactions, and other GL entries
Performing general reconciliation processes for assigned entities
Checking account balances and investigating variances
Collaborating with colleagues from AR, AP, Statutory Reporting, Tax departments
Communicating with client representatives to resolve accounting questions
Requirements:
0–2 years of experience in accounting
Good command of English (B2+ or higher)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Customer-oriented and a strong team player
Proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or another relevant discipline
Good Excel skills
Familiarity with the SAP FI module (both ERP and S/4HANA) is an advantage
