Senior Associate (Tax Law)

We are looking for talented and motivated Senior Associate (Tax Law) for our Tax practice.
LCF’s tax practice represents foreign and local companies on a broad spectrum of tax matters that arise in the course of doing business in Ukraine.
Our lawyers excel at protecting clients' interests in complex, multi-jurisdictional, high-value, high-risk, at times hopeless judicial and arbitration disputes. The team also regularly undertakes tax structuring mandates for businesses, often linked to Corporate/M&A transactions.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in tax law within a law firm or a leading professional services firm
- Experience with tax audits
- Knowledge of international taxation (experience in support of transfer pricing projects will be an advantage)
- Make legal researches on tax law
- Upper Intermediate English
- Attorney’s license
- Client-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client service
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop effective tax strategies
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
- Negotiation skills to handle tax disputes and client interactions effectively
- Strong drafting skills for legal documents and written consultations
- Project management experience
- Desire for professional growth
- Accounting knowledge is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Draft documents for tax consulting and manage tax disputes during administrative and judicial appeals
- Represent clients during administrative and judicial appeals (requires an attorney’s license)
- Communicate and correspond effectively with clients, ensuring clarity and responsiveness
- Conduct legal research, analyze legislative changes, and prepare reviews and analytical materials for media and online publications
- Develop and implement strategic tax solutions to meet client needs
