It is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) developing and implementing emergency, post-emergency and development programs since 1994. 

Operational in Ukraine since 2016 TGH aims to support the most vulnerable populations affected by thewar in Ukraine in the fileds of water supply, hygiene and sanitation, civil construction (housing), food security, rural development (livelihood), social, educational and psychosocial support (protection).  

Role objective: Under the supervision of Head of Finance, finance manager will ensure timely and quality financial support to Programme and Support Departments.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

Responsibility 1: Financial Management:

• Ensure enough liquidity is available in bank and cash accounts, for payments to suppliers and staff salaries / per diems.
• Review financial documents like PSRs, Evaluation Grids, POs (Purchase orders) and PAF as per assigned limit.
• Ensure cash counts are done on weekly and monthly basis  and documented.

Responsibility 2: Accountancy:

• Review bank and cash books along with reconciliations received from the finance officer, before posting them to Saga.
• Ensure all payment voucher are stamp paid before transferring the files to Compliance department.
• Post the monthly accounting data into Saga and close accountancy before 10th of every month, after being reviewed by the Finance Coordinator. 

Responsibility 3: Coordination & Partners Management:

• Support of close cooperation with financial specialists and accountants of field offices.
• Supervise Lviv Finance Officer.
• Receive funds requests from field offices and ensure timely transfers on monthly basis.
• Review accountancy files received from field offices and hand them over to compliance department after review.
• Review the financial reports received from Partner NGOs on monthly basis and provide feedback where required.
• Conduct pre award assessment of local partners before signing a new partnership agreement.

Job Requirements: 

Qualifications and Education Requirements: Higher education degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

Skills and qualities:

• Previous experience in the accountancy.
• Previous experience in a humanitarian organization is a clear advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT) experience in Saga will be an advantage
• Languages: Ukrainian and Russian: Fluent speaking and writing.
• English: Intermediate. Higher level of English is a clear asset.
