About the job 

The ICRC Health Unit is seeking a highly capable Physical Rehabilitation Programme (PRP) Field Officer to join our team in Kharkiv. Under the supervision of the PRP focal point, the PRP Field Officer contributes to implementing our physical rehabilitation projects, including data management, reporting, and logistical tasks. The PRP Officer supports liaising and building networks with PRP-supported structures and relevant rehabilitation partners in Kharkiv. 

 Start date: as soon as possible, preferably by 01 August 2024

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide all necessary reports and statistics 
• Contribute and ensure data accuracy using different digital tools that support data collection and data storage
• Monitor project implementation for compliance with project documents, ICRC standards, and partners standards
• Liaise with different interlocutors and supported facilities (Hospitals and Physical Rehabilitation facilities) ensuring adequate communication
• Organize meetings and workshops, estimating budget, logistical needs, and related expenses
• Support adequate financial management for payments 
• Interpret during meetings and field visits when necessary as well as translation of different documents
• Together with other PRP team members, give information and dissemination sessions to various audiences (authorities, communities, DPOs) about ICRC and PRP activities
• Establish and maintain regular working relations with concerned counterparts following the program priorities

About you

To be successful as a PRP Field Officer in the Health Department, you should possess the following qualifications and experiences and have the following characteristics:  

• Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
• High school diploma or University degree
• Hospital administration or public health secondary degree is a strong asset
• 2-3 years of experience working in health/rehabilitation projects or administration of health facilities
• 1-2 years of experience working with humanitarian actors is an asset
• Professional fluency (written and spoken) in English, Ukrainian and Russian 
• Computer literate, including sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principles
• Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
• Ability to work independently, as well as effectively under supervision
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work within a diverse team and establish and maintain good working relations in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environment
