Key Account Manager for Spanish market (Food Retail industry, Supply chain, FEA) / Import and Export Specialist
Our customer, an agro-industrial holding that is one of the largest producers of chicken eggs and dry egg products in Europe and Ukraine, is looking for a Key Account Manager for Spanish market (Food Retail industry, Supply chain, FEA) / Import and Export Specialist . Preference is given to candidates from Ukraine who are based in Spain.
Today, the holding is proud to be one of the most technologically advanced egg processing facilities in Europe. The company sells eggs and egg products both in retail and wholesale stores in Ukraine and also exports to more than 40 countries around the world.
THE GOAL OF THE VACANCY
The purpose of the vacancy is to expand the company's presence in the Spanish market for the sale of eggs and egg processing products.
You will be mainly responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts in food retail. You will be driving the company's sales and profitability.
As a Key Account Manager for retail chains, you should be organized and able to analyze performance metrics. We also expect you to have excellent negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers.
Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set and monitor sales targets for Regional Key Account Managers.
- Make network with key customers to identify and address specific needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success.
- Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring clients’ requirements are met.
- Identify and attract prospective strategic customers.
- Ensure brand consistency.
- Negotiate contracts.
- Collect and analyze sales data and trends.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards.
- Liaise with Sales and Marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products.
- Stay up-to-date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of work experience as Key Account Manager in the Food Retail industry or
- Successful work experience in a similar position in companies producing food or beverages for at least 2 years.
- Product distribution experience is highly appreciated.
- Previous experience in sales, supply chain and customer service.
- Successful experience in negotiating and meeting clients’ requirements.
- The availability of contacts among top managers of national retail food chains will be a plus.
- In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate team members.
- Availability to travel as needed per duties.
- Good English.
- Fluent Spanish.
- Official residence in Europe, work permits, and legal status in the country.
