Job Description: 3D Rigger/Technical Animator
We are seeking a skilled 3D Rigger/Technical Animator to join our team and bring life to characters, creatures, and objects in our project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of rigging, skinning, and animation workflows, with a focus on creating efficient and versatile rigs for seamless animation.
Responsibilities:
• Design, create, and maintain character and object rigs for animation, ensuring compatibility with project requirements.
• Apply advanced skinning techniques to achieve realistic deformations.
• Collaborate closely with animators to ensure rigs meet performance and functionality needs.
• Troubleshoot and optimize rigs for animation and real-time use in game engines.
• Develop and implement tools, scripts, and workflows to improve the rigging and animation pipeline.
• Maintain proper documentation for rigs, tools, and workflows to ensure consistency.
• Work with technical artists and programmers to integrate assets into the game engine or rendering pipeline.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a 3D Rigger/Technical Animator in games, film, or animation.
• Proficiency in rigging and skinning using software such as Maya or Blender
