Since March 2022, we have met needs quickly and efficiently by supporting communities on the frontlines, training and empowering our Ukrainian partners, and providing medical aid and social-emotional support throughout the country.


Job Opportunity: Partnership Manager (National Position) for LHI in Ukraine

Duration: 6 months, with the possibility of extension

Position Availability: Immediate

Duty Station: Remote, with regular field trips across Ukraine

Contract Type: Consultancy (ФОП), including a two-month probation period. 

Type of employment: part-time, with the possibility of full-time employment after the probation period

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Country Director, the Partnership Manager will play a crucial role in the efficient and effective implementation of LHI's relief program in Ukraine. The incumbent will closely collaborate with our partners to ensure a smooth operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Country Director in overseeing the implementation of LHI's program activities in Ukraine.

  2. Proactively address any issues that may arise during project implementation and make adjustments to the work plan, if necessary.

  3. Provide guidance to selected implementing partners in proposal writing, project design and implementation, M&E development, work planning, and other pertinent processes, ensuring alignment with high standards of humanitarian aid and donor regulations.

  4. Support partners in enhancing their capacity across various areas, including performance, compliance, finance, organizational structure, and fundraising.

  5. Ensure proper maintenance and updates of partners' project files, including plans and trackers.

  6. Oversee partner contracts and prepare amendments when necessary.

  7. Ensure timely processing and completion of partners' payment requests.

  8. Perform other relevant duties as required.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated relevant experience, including at least 1 year with NGOs/INGOs in the Ukrainian context.

  2. Excellent communication, networking, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  3. Willingness to travel frequently to project sites and partner locations.

  4. Proficiency in both written and spoken Ukrainian and English is mandatory.

  5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team and coordinate with other teams.

  6. Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

  7. Strong organizational skills.

  8. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
