Senior Associate (Banking & Finance Practice)
There is an excellent opportunity for talented legal professionals — we are looking for a highly committed, and goal-oriented Senior Associate in Banking & Finance Practice.
Our Client is a TOP Ukrainian law firm with considerable experience representing clients' interests in different industries and participating in significant legal projects on domestic and global levels.
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
5+ years of experience in Banking & Finance in a top-tier firm
A degree in law (LLM would be an advantage)
Experience in legal project management
Experience in team management (with delegation/supervision skills)
Fluent in English (legal), and Ukrainian
Excellent legal writing, research skills and strong analytical thinking
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Experience in Business Development
Strong client service orientation and experience in direct communication with clients
Responsible, goal-oriented, ambitious, ready for self-organization and meeting strict deadlines
Key Responsibilities include:
Advising clients on legal matters regarding Banking and Finance projects (cross-border and domestic)
Analyzing Ukrainian and foreign law, and providing recommendations on a range of legal issues raised by clients
Drafting / updating / reviewing different legal documents (agreements, memoranda, legal opinions, etc.)
Team management
Legal projects management
Communication with clients, government agencies, and contractors (meetings and conference calls)
PR and BD activities (articles, comments, events, etc.)
