From 2022, Medical Teams International Ukraine provides psychological and medical assistance, supplies necessary goods to people affected by the military conflict. Our team in Ukraine consists of medical workers, psychologists and administrative staff. We are united by the virtues of our organization. Our actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality. We are a non-profit organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee supply chain activities—planning, sourcing, transport, warehousing, and asset management—between Odesa and Mykolaiv offices.
  • Manage procurement per MTI and donor standards, ensuring transparent, efficient processes, negotiating prices, and proposing new suppliers.
  • Lead local pharmaceutical procurement, ensuring proper storage and transport to support program outcomes.
  • Strengthen logistics and procurement staff skills at the Mykolaiv office.
  • Track vendor contracts, collaborate with departments for smooth implementation, and support timely payments.
  • Assist with annual procurement planning and ongoing equipment tracking.
  • Ensure all items meet MTI and donor branding requirements.
  • Plan office needs, conduct market surveys, build a local vendor database, and coordinate with IT for tech needs.
  • Adhere to MTI and donor policies in procurement, vendor management, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Promote a safe, respectful workplace by upholding safeguarding policies for program participants and employees.
  • Coordinate weekly movement plans with Programs, schedule and track drivers and vehicle movements.
  • Prepare weekly driver schedules and payments.
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of transport providers.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field required. 
  • Minimum 2 years in procurement and logistics.

  • Experience with donor-specific procedures (e.g., UN, USAID) is preffered.

  • ERP system knowledge and understanding of donor logistics and grant procedures preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office (word processing, spreadsheets, databases).

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Ukrainian.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical procurement and warehousing preferred.

  • Strong organizational and quantitative skills.

  • Able to handle complex tasks independently and maintain accurate records.
