WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
a Web Developer (WordPress Website) — a person who is ready to work, see the results of his efforts and develop his skills in this sphere every day.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent English proficiency (С2 is preferred);
- Available for meetings or collaboration during half or more of normal Pacific time working hours (can work independently for the other half if needed); Ideally fully available during normal Pacific time working hours;
- Attention to detail;
- Several years of web development experience;
- Ideally should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related majors) or an equivalent amount of relevant work experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum: to make changes to the site that require modifying the WordPress theme is several years experience with the following:
- WordPress (including writing custom themes WITHOUT relying on a page builder like Elementor or Divi);
- Worked with WordPress versions that are 10 years old;
- PHP, HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, Version control (Git / SVN).
Ideally: should also have experience with some or all of the following:
- Google Tag Manager;
- Writing WordPress plugins;
- Native WordPress blocks;
- DNS records;
- Cloudflare;
- HTTP request caching;
- Apache;
- Docker;
- Migrating websites between hosting providers;
- Merging 2 WordPress sites.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Remote work;
- Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM (Pacific Time) with one hour break;
- Once a month payment;
- Contract based relations;
- It is necessary to be an individual entrepreneur;
- Long-term cooperation only, no part-time.
