Logistics Coordinator (Kyiv) - Intranet DCA (emply.com)
The Logistics Coordinator is under the supervision of the Head of Support Services. The Logistics Coordinator oversees and manages the efficient and effective logistics unit with a responsibility of overseeing warehouse and fleet needs and manages as per DCA and donor tools and policies to ensure compliance
Main responsibilities:
- Manage logistics and ensuring compliance with Logistics Policies/Manuals and Guidelines of both DCA and the donors
- Develop and maintain tracking system for donated items by donor, transported items (from/to CO/Field sites) etc
- Design and maintain a Country Office Service History Tracker for all vehicles, generators, etc.
- Manages and prepares shipments with complete transportation documents
- Compile all information reports and produces the country report, including annexes
- Raising necessary stock requests or PRFs for logistics unit purchases
- Support proposal development by providing logistical indicators
- When required, travel to field/other DCA offices to support and train and to conduct spot checks
- Develop and manage tracking systems of DCA Ukraine assets and equipment by issuing and using Asset Contracts
- Prepare input to monthly reports that covers fleet, warehouse and other relevant logistics input including compiling information and drafting narrative
- Ensure compliance with donor and projects requirements
- Report vehicle accidents to relevant actors and carry out relevant investigations of accidents
Work related travels are expected in this position.
