Back end developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated JavaScript Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side development using JavaScript (Node.js) and experience with NestJS, Kafka, and AWS. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-scale backend services that power our innovative agri - tech solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and NestJS.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support our products.

• Work with databases such  PostgreSQL.

• Utilize Kafka for building scalable and real-time data processing pipelines.

• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Implement security and data protection measures.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of code quality.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• English level: upper intermediate and above.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on JavaScript and Node.js.

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on JavaScript and Node.js + TypeScript .

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ syntax.

• Experience with NestJS framework.

• Familiarity with Kafka for message brokering and real-time data processing.

• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.

• Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

• Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The interview consists of 4 stages: introductory interview, performance of the technical task, technical interview, interview with the client.
