QA Engineer (Manual)

Leading scientific and production company providing Ukrainian electronics manufacturers with access to cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions.

The company specializes in integrating high-tech solutions for various industries, including industrial automation, medical instrumentation, and space electronics. It conducts testing of finished products and assists clients in developing schematics and designing printed circuit boards for transitioning to SMT technology.

We are currently looking for a specialist to develop our own ERP system, which will optimize internal processes and improve the efficiency of managing production and business operations.

What we expect from you:

• 2+ years of experience as a manual QA
• 2+ years of experience in testing web applications and desktop systems
• Experience with desktop applications for data collection
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• Experience using testing tools (Postman, Chrome DevTools, and similar)
• Practical experience in test planning and creating test artifacts (manuals, checklists, test cases)
• Understanding of JSON, REST API, and Webhooks
• Experience with Jira
• Knowledge and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Practical experience in integration testing and GUI testing
• Strong analytical skills and systematic thinking
• Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new tools and requirements
• English level from B1 (reading, writing)

What you will do:

• Conduct the full cycle of manual testing of the web version of the product
• Create and execute test cases and checklists to verify functionality, performance, usability, and security
• Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Analyze and evaluate product requirements to create test scenarios
• Verify the results of bug fixes
• Deeply immerse yourself in the legacy desktop version of the product to obtain technical information necessary for testing the web version
• Study logs and system information to diagnose problems and improve testing
• Test APIs
• Write and maintain test documentation
• Continuously improve testing approaches, practices, and processes
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless project execution
• Implement and promote best industry practices and tools.

It would be great, but not mandatory, if you:

• Have a basic understanding of ERP system architecture
• Know the manufacturing industry and its business processes
• Have experience with database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Have knowledge of basic test automation and experience with testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress).
