Application Engineer (adaptation of gas engines for application at power generation, petroleum and industrial equipment) Kiev
Requirements:
- Education: Higher Technical Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Experienced mechanical or electrical engineer specializing in the design and implementation of cogeneration power plants, medium and low voltage equipment (transformers, switchgear, low and high voltage equipment), energy efficiency projects and any structures equipped with gas and diesel engines and generators. Proven professional experience in a relevant project with the application/use engines, generators or turbines.
Relevant Experience:
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical & energy balance calculations for selection of equipment (engines, heat recovers, chillers, pumps, fans, voltage transformers) and instrumentation (control panel, PLC, sensors, thyristor thermostats etc) in scope of adaptation, modernization or construction of new equipment.
- Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, Solid Works (or similar), Excel.
- Experience reading and interpreting schematic diagrams, PI&D diagrams, single lines diagrams.
- Working experience in Oil&Gas and Electric Power Generation field will an advantage.
- Deep knowledge of modern range of components, devices, options for effective solutions of combustion engines application.
- English (oral and written) Upper intermediate
- Personality Expectations: Team player, positively minded, able to work constantly, result –oriented. Capable to study intensively, open to learn and be challenged. Good health.
Main Responsibilities:
- Development of technical solutions for combustion engines adaptation in different applications such as Electric Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Industrial and Locomotive.
- Engines configuring, selection of optional equipment, energy balance calculation, evaluation of energy system proposal and fitting.
- Electrical equipment configuration (transformers, switchgear and other)
- Development of technical specifications, technical descriptions and other technical documentation.
- Technical supporting of adaptation and implementation of projects.
