AMO Pictures is an international video production company that creates stories for millions of users. We have our own English-language media and video production team that works on fiction, non-fiction, and animated creations. Our mission at AMO is to help people discover and develop their own superpower, and learn what it is that sets them apart. We are looking for an experienced Scriptwriters (OSSA) We want to see in our team a creative, proactive writer who knows how to tell stories for an audience of millions. Your main challenge will be to tell stories about celebrities in an artistic style but in a very friendly and simple tone of voice.
Responsibilities
- Reporting on news and trends in the world of celebrity and entertainment
- Writing scripts for OSSA family YouTube channels
- Preparing metadata for scripts (titles, keywords, descriptions, cover design tasks)
- Proofread and editing of scripts with the help of AI
- Voice-over of scripts with the help of AI
- Checking videos and providing edits
- Analyzing the success of your own and competitive videos
To do this, you will need:
- Work experience as a writer/ journalist/ editor/copywriter - 2+ years
- Advanced level of written English
- Interest in pop culture, understanding of the main trends, key names, events and premieres in show business
- Storytelling skills, understanding of the basics of drama
- Understanding of the YouTube platform and its algorithms will be a plus
- Experience with AI will be a plus
Your reporting manager will be our Creative Producer OSSA - Yevgeniya. She has been working at AMO for over 5 years. She started as a scriptwriter in the Facebook team, wrote scripts for the OSSA YouTube channel, organized filming with hosts, and managed a team of scriptwriters. Now, as a Creative Producer, she coordinates the OSSA team and project (7 colleagues and 7 active YouTube channels). Zhenia's ideal candidate loves pop culture, writing stories and is fluent in English. She values openness to new things, curiosity and autonomy.
