Frontend Developer (Consultant role)
The international non-profit organization Management Sciences for Health (MSH), implementing the US Government-funded Safe, Affordable and Effective Medicines for Ukrainians Activity (SAFEMed), is looking for a Frontend Developer (Consultant role).
The Frontend Developer will be responsible for the development of the user interface components of the updated State Formulary System (SFS) based on approved requirements, designs, and technical specifications. The consultant will work in coordination with the SAFEMed team to ensure consistent implementation and readiness for deployment.
Description of services to be provided
· Develop frontend components and user interface functionality for the updated State Formulary System.
· Implement user flows and screens based on approved requirements and UI/UX designs.
· Develop functionality for search, filtering, sorting, navigation, and data presentation.
· Implement frontend workflows for data upload, price update support, manual ATC mapping adjustment, article updating by INN, document generation support, and reporting-related interfaces.
· Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and services provided by the internal development team.
· Support testing, bug fixing, and refinement of implemented functionality.
· Participate in technical coordination with SAFEMed and SEC as needed.
· Prepare monthly reports on work performed and services provided
Required qualifications:
Education: a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in frontend development for web-based information systems.
- Strong knowledge of modern frontend technologies, frameworks, and responsive UI development.
- Experience in implementing complex data-entry and data-management interfaces.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs.
- Ability to work with UI/UX designs and translate them into functional user interfaces.
- Experience in testing, debugging, and refining frontend applications.
- Experience working on government, public sector, or health-related digital systems will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
