  • Provide finance and accounting support for MWH activities in Ukraine;
  • Review and remit payment requests, ensure proper authorization of all disbursals;
  • Review procurement documentation prior to payment and confirm that all supporting documents are included depending on the procurement thresholds;

Financial Management and Accounting:

  • assist programme staff at the stage of new Project’s Budget preparation, costsjustification development and monitoringpayments against budget and makerecommendations on costs reallocation between projects;
  • ensure daily and proper registration of all transactions in the bank register inaccordance with the approved procedures;
  • manage the petty cash according to country rules and regulations, verifyingphysical cash count;

  • support the hiring procedure and recruitment of staff (preparation of jobdescriptions, drafting vacancy announcements, facilitating testing) ;
  • preparation of staff documentation: contracts, job descriptions, monitor theirduration, maintain a personal database of employees and their personal files;
  • identifying training and development needs and solutions;ensure that law and human resources procedures are fully respected;
  • review and approve the Partner financial reports and supporting accountingdocuments;
  • coordinate and conduct capacity-building activities for partners, e.g. trainings,workshops etc.oversee contracts with partners including preparing amendments whenrequired.

Support the project team in the process of stakeholders identification
