I am a self-taught iOS developer with 2 year of commercial experience and. I begun learning Swift by studying Apple programming books, watching WWDC sessions, exploring the Apple SDK, and utilizing various other resources.

To further accelerate my learning, I worked closely with a mentor, a friend with 5 years of experience in iOS development. My mentor’s guidance helped me quickly grasp how to write structured and easily scalable code, properly manage project flow, effectively use the iOS SDK, and efficiently find solutions to development challenges.

During my time as a developer, I’ve learned to work independently, plan tasks efficiently, and accurately estimate the time required for their completion. I’ve also developed the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Work experience: December 2022 - current time, Freelance

1. Collages - in development. An app where users can create custom collages from their photos. In this application, I encountered challenges due to the complex and multilayered layout logic, prompting me to delve deeper into this area. I studied and experimented with various approaches for building complex layouts by dynamically managing elements using Auto Layout and frame-based layout.

2. Colorize: An app aimed at reviving old photographs by enhancing their resolution and adding color. After improvements, users can further edit photos by cropping, rotating, flipping, adding text, and applying various filters. Technologies used: AVFoundation, Photos, UIKit, Concurrency, Replicate API.

3. Crystal Recogniser: Designed to help users identify stones by taking a photo, which is then analyzed by an AI model to provide information about the stone. While working on this app, I gained foundational knowledge in app structure and flow. I learned how to set up the camera and capture photos with AVFoundation, and gained a good understanding of collection views and complex layouts.
