The course aims to provide students with the skills to identify and treat casualties with preventable causes of death, keeping them alive long enough to reach hospital.

• Engage with local communities regarding project-specific issues
• Set up meetings with local communities and keep records of all engagements
• Be the focal point for receiving communications from local communities regarding issues/grievances: - - acknowledge
• receipt to the initiator (but no commitments or promises regarding outcome), and forward to HSSE&S Manager for appropriate action
• Liaise with HSSE&S Manager to ensure that project delivery-related community engagements are in alignment with the Stakeholder Engagement Plan
• Liaise with HSSE&S Manager to ensure that communications with the local community are consistent and aligned with the formal technical HSSE documents produced by the HSS team
• Familiarize with the Project EIA/ESIA/ESMP/ESAP documents to be aware of all relevant Project promises, obligations and conditions made to local communities
• Provide support to HSSE&S Manager: fact-finding and information-gathering/data-recording/KPIs, etc.
• Provide updates to ESAP and Stakeholder Engagement Plan, including records of all engagements and discussions held, including potential issues/grievances
• Participate in regular public hearings with local communities
• Participate in audits and reviews, as required
• Provide support with documentation consulting services and translation of key project documents within the area of CLO
• Manage HSE/Quality within own area of responsibility, follow-up of HSE/HEMP and Quality action items
