Data Architect

Andersen, an international IT company, is looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a large-scale project in the financial sector.

About the Customer:
Our customer is a leading financial institution headquartered in Azerbaijan, specializing in corporate and investment banking. Known for its innovative solutions and digital transformation efforts, the bank provides seamless online tools for banking services. The company also has a strong regional presence with offices in Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and the UAE.

Project:
This project involves building robust data architecture and management systems to support the bank’s diverse services. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring data architecture alignment with business needs, compliance with data governance standards, and the development of advanced data solutions. You will design and manage data models, oversee the implementation of data warehouses, data lakes, and ensure the smooth operation of various data processing pipelines.

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Archimate.
• Solid understanding of IT Governance standards and Agile methodology.
• Proven experience in designing and managing Data Warehouses (DWH), Data Lakes, and Data Lakehouses.
• Expertise in data model design and handling formats such as Avro, Parquet, Protobuf, and ORC.
• Experience in OLTP, OLAP, ETL, and ELT processes.
• Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• English proficiency from Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
