Financial Controller

Job scope:

• Leading a team which includes Local GAAP and tax reporting as well as payroll team;
• End to end scope of accounting oversight and tax reporting for the country;
• The team covers Kyiv sales office and two production facilities in Ukraine;
• Additionally the person plays a role of Country tax manager;

Typical daily duties:

• Reviewing the company's financial statements and tax returns to ensure they are accurate
• Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Ensuring compliance of core business processes, contracts and documentation with local legislation and government regulations; related consultancy work
• Transfer pricing compliance and relevant defense file maintenance
• Preparing inputs for cash flow and gross margin forecast; tax forecast for the country
• Tax consultancy and tax controversy work
• Recommending changes in policies or local procedures that help improve financial performance

Qualifications:

• Very good possession of Ukrainian Tax code (Податковий Кодекс України);
• Expected to have basic knowledge of International financial reporting standards (IFRS) - МСФЗ (nice to have)
• Experience in larger company structures
• High degree in finance or accounting is a must;
• Good level of English
• 5 years of experience in Finance/Accounting
