Procurement analyst

Biosphere Corporation is the leading manufacturer and distributor of household and hygiene products and a key player on the AFH market of professional goods and private label is looking for a super-sharp Procurement analyst who is ready to deliver world-class results and outstanding performance and provide support for Procurement department with data management, reporting and analytics, data analysis, data modeling, data profiling, and data visualization in the fast-growing Company with over 3000 employees, 6 production facilities and sales to over 23 global markets. Position assumes reporting to the Procurement Director.

The role of a Procurement analyst oversees the procurement effectiveness programs, supports improvement initiatives including functional excellence, and procurement scorecard to steer the team to ensure results delivery year-on-year.?

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and trends
• Generating and delivering reports from data analysis.
• Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements .
• Providing support to ensure that all reporting is accurate.
• Verifying the accuracy of reports and assisting in correcting any inaccuracies in the business data.
• Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
• Offering suggestions and direction to help guide decision-makers.
• Analyzing spend data and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance and compliance
• Collaborating with finance teams to ensure procurement activities align with budgetary constraints
• Main KPI’s achievement tracking, reporting (savings, payment terms improvement, etc.).
• Implementing and testing of solutions .
• Supporting business transition and helping to establish change.
• Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
• Using procurement software and tools to streamline processes and enhance data analysis Evaluating and recommending improvements to procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements for a successful candidate:

• Master’s degree education (project management, computer science or a degree in mathematics in priority).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in mathematics with the ability to translate complex mathematical information into understandable reports
• Commercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgets.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills: applicants must have the ability to think critically working outside the box.
• Results orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to quickly learn data mining tools and techniques.
• Power BI user experience.
• Fluent English language skills.
