Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for e-commerce web applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
- Ensure the web application meets high standards of performance, usability, and reliability.
- Work closely with the development team to understand the architecture and design of the system.
- Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies, providing input on user stories and acceptance criteria.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience as a QA engineer, with a focus on e-commerce platforms
- Good knowledge of client-servere architecture
- Experience with test management tools.
- Experience with test case creation, execution, and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and shopping cart functionality
- Familiarity with payment gateway testing
- Experience with inventory management and product catalog testing
- Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device testing
Would be a Plus:
- Basic understanding of API testing
- Familiarity with performance testing concepts
- Knowledge of security testing principles for e-commerce applications
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) is a plus
