Financial controller

HR Agency Key People is a leading HR consulting and recruitment company in various industries. 

One of our partners a Belgian Development Agency is opening in Kyiv its representative office due to direct participation in Ukraine recovery.

In connection with the expansion of activities a vacancy of financial controller with head office in Kyiv is open.

Your tasks in this position:

• Prepare the budget and the financial reporting, and monthly closings in order to ensure efficient use of funds and reliable financial reporting

• Supervise and validate reporting on Grant Agreements in order to ensure expenditure is in compliance with the Grant Agreements

• Manage fiduciary risks, the internal control and audit action plans in order to manage the risks and not to jeopardize the objectives achievement

• Develop the capacities of partner entities in order to contribute to the improvement of their organisation, processes and systems and of their staff’s competences

• Set up the support organisation for the country

Your competencies :

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related fields

• At least 5 years of professional experience in financial management.  

• Experience in auditing, risk management and/or in financial management in the public sector.  

• Experience with team management

• Ukrainian fiscal regulation

• ACCA certification is encouraged

• Good knowledge of ICT applications. 

• Experience in an international environment. 

• Good knowledge of financial management.

• Knowledge or experience with Public Procurement.

• Knowledge or experience with Fraud Investigations and prevention

• English and Ukrainian – obligatory (excellent knowledge of written and spoken)
