Deputy logistics manager

On behalf of our client, one of the leading  international automotive   company , we are looking for successful candidate to fill the position of deputy logistic manager 

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Logistics Director:

·         Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies.

·         Provide input on logistical planning and policy development.

Project Management:

·         Lead the planning and execution of new logistics projects.

·         Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

·         Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

Coordination and Communication:

·         Coordinate with internal departments to align project goals and logistics activities.

·         Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.

·         Prepare and maintain project documentation and status reports

Risk Management:

·         Identify potential risks related to logistics projects and report them to the Logistics Director.

·         Assist in developing mitigation strategies to address project risks.

·         Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Continuous Improvement:

·         Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics.

·         Suggest innovative solutions to enhance logistics capabilities.

Requirements:

Education:

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.

·         Proven experience in project management and continuous improvement.

Skills and Competencies:

·         Good command of the English language (required for internal collaboration)

·         Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

·         Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Proficient in logistics software and tools (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems).

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
