Mental Health Center Director

To this end, we will shortly be establishing a mental health centre in Kyiv, Ukraine. The purpose of this facility is to provide a mixture of complimentary and paid for therapy services.

As a result we have an exciting new role for the appointment of a Director of Operations for the facility to drive this function forward.

What will you need to be successful in your job?

• Medical Doctor degree or degree in psychology.
• Working experience in the sphere of no less than five years.
• Practicing doctor in psychiatry or psychology or previous experience.
• Networking with other specialists in the sphere
• Leadership & Managerial skills

What would be your main tasks?

1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the effective delivery of mental health services aligned with the center’s mission and objectives.

2. Budget Management: Oversee budgeting processes, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure financial sustainability while maintaining high-quality care.

3. Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members, including therapists, counselors, psychiatrists, and administrative personnel. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.

4. Clinical Oversight: Ensure that clinical services adhere to best practices and regulatory standards. Monitor the quality of care, implement quality improvement initiatives, and address any issues related to patient care.

5. Patient Care Coordination: Coordinate the delivery of services to patients, including intake, assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning. Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

6. Community Engagement: Build relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance collaboration and access to services. Raise awareness about mental health issues and promote the center’s programs and initiatives.

7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Develop policies and procedures to address emergencies, crisis situations, and risk management protocols.

8. Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of patient information, treatment plans, and outcomes. Compile and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for improvement.

9. Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Prepare for and participate in accreditation surveys and audits.
