Driver
The Investment for Business Resilience (IBR) Activity, formerly known as FSR, is a five-year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by DAI Global LLC. The purpose of the IBR Activity is to support systemic changes in Ukraine’s economy and increases the supply of finance available to Ukrainian businesses. IBR aims to transform the country’s financial sector into a well-functioning and competitive market that is aligned with European Union standards and integrated into international financial systems, while directly providing financing to enterprises for sustained economic growth.
The IBR is looking for candidates to fill in the Driver position, LTTA in KYIV.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Driver is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of personnel, goods, documents, or equipment within the designated project operation area. This position supports the organization's goals by providing reliable and secure transportation. Based in Kyiv, the Driver is expected to travel extensively within Ukraine, considering all safety measures. International travel across the Ukrainian border may be possible if the driver meets all eligibility requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide secure and efficient driving for staff, visitors, and goods as required.
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Adapt to changing conditions and routes as necessary, especially in conflict zones.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure vehicles are equipped with necessary safety and emergency equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and serviceability of the vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trips.
- Complete and submit required documentation, such as logbooks and vehicle inspection reports.
- Monitor and report on local security conditions and potential risks during travel.
- Follow security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of passengers and goods.
- Coordinate with security personnel and follow guidance on travel restrictions and safe routes.
- Communicate effectively with the Logistics Manager and other team members regarding travel plans and any changes.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring secure and careful handling.
- Assist with document delivery.
- Provide support to other logistical and office operational tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Secondary education with at least 5 years of relevant professional driving experience.
- Valid Ukrainian driver's license (categories B).
- Valid military documents and registration with the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (ТЦКтаСП) – for male candidates who fall within the conscription requirement is a must.
- Minor vehicle repair skills.
- Experience in accident-free driving of a vehicle.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
