Project Manager

VisionFund Ukraine is the financial institution aimed at providing loans and other services to micro and small businesses in Ukraine. 

We finance micro and small businesses to foster further development, create opportunities for income generation, and generate new employment, thus opening up new possibilities to support and grow communities.

We are seeking a Project Manager,  who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the successful implementation and continuous operation of VisionFund Ukraine’s credit processing system and associated software.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. This person should be familiar with regulatory requirements in Ukraine’s financial sector and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate between technical and business teams.

Responsibilities:

• Project Continuation and System Implementation:
  • Manage and lead the full implementation of the credit processing system after implamantation.
  • Serve as the point of contact for any issues or updates required for the system post-implementation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (finance, operations, IT) and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and operational consistency.
    
    
• System Support and Continuous Improvement:
  • Oversee system maintenance, resolving issues and ensuring stability in day-to-day operations.
  • Lead efforts to enhance the credit system, addressing emerging business needs and regulatory changes.
    
    
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Coordinate between technical and non-technical teams to translate business requirements into system functionality.
  • Liaise with external vendors and consultants to address system issues or further development.
    
    
• Reporting and Compliance:
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to senior management on system performance, risks, and future development opportunities.
  • Lead risk assessments to ensure the credit system adheres to both technical and regulatory requirements.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of project management experience, preferably in financial services or IT project implementation.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in Ukraine’s financial sector
• Proven experience managing software development or implementation projects.
• Knowledge of credit processes, financial systems, or fintech industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and fluency in both Ukrainian and English.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field.
