We need a strong SEO specialist preferably with an experience in the German-speaking consumer goods market to enforce our SEO activities. This role involves optimizing website content and structure, implementing SEO best practices, and analyzing data to improve search engine performance. The specialist will collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective SEO strategies. By leveraging advanced techniques and staying up to date with industry trends, the SEO specialist will contribute to our digital growth, strengthening the brand’s online presence.

Responsibilities

• Determine measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in SEO efforts
• Conduct comprehensive keyword research across all product categories on the website to guide content development and optimization.
• Perform website SEO audit on a regular basis
• Set tasks for optimizing critical on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, URLs, and images to improve search engine rankings
• Work closely with content creators to incorporate SEO best practices into all digital content.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and data collection platforms to track and report on key metrics.
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and relevant competitor development to optimize the website’s search engine visibility.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive SEO reports, presenting findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the development team to improve crawlability, website speed, indexing, mobile friendliness, and website architecture

Requirements

• Proven SEO experience in e-commerce/consumer goods
• Good ability to communicate in English OR German, cooperate with the team, good responsiveness, ability to successfully prioritize the tasks
• Ability to operate with contents/keywords in German
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

Would be a plus:

BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field
