Requirements:
- 3+ years experience of quality assurance in software development projects;
- Experience in testing Web, integrations, APIs;
- Expertise in reviewing software requirements;
- Strong knowledge of the theory of testing (DLC and STLC, Bug lifecycle);
- Strong knowledge of different test design techniques;
- Experience in different testing types: Functional, Non-Functional, Smoke, Regression, Sanity, Exploratory;
- Experience in REST API testing and working with web debugging tools (Postman/Insomnia, Fiddler);
- Strong knowledge of chrome devtools;
- Experience in creating Testing Artefacts: Test suites, Test cases, Traceability matrices, Check lists, Bug reports, Test Reports;
- Knowledge of client-server architecture;
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
- Experience with Management Systems (Jira, Testrail, Confluence);
- Experience with SQL DBs (Postgres, SQl) and NoSQL DBs: (MongoDB, elasticsearch, redis);
- Experience in SQL scripting;
- Experience with CI (gitlab, jenkins);
- Knowledge of git and git flow;
- Basic knowledge of Web technologies (html, css, xml, json);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong communication skills, quick learner;
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English;
- Experience in working with complex product system with microservices architecture (UI, APIs, DBs);
- Knowledge of any programming language;
- Knowledge of automation process, experience in it;
- ISTQB certification.
Responsibilities:
- Providing testing activities — requirements review, test design, testing, test closure activities;
- Analyse incidents from production;
- Creating, support, reverse engineering for covering gaps in existing test documentation;
- Keep detailed logs of all open questions and issues;
- Know your business domain, tech principles and limitations. Being proactive, suggest product team and business your improvements.
- Taking part in regular meetings — daily, grooming sessions, QA team sync ups;
- Support of Devs, Designer, BAs.
It is important to have experience in API testing as you will work with many integrations, as well as SQL knowledge. Understanding of client-server architecture is also critical.
Location — Kyiv. Remote type of work, but sometimes we like to gather at office, so we are looking for a teammate in Kyiv.
