Chief accountant

We are inviting professionals to join our team of CHIEF ACCOUNTANTS (a candidate with experience in FMCG, retail, Horeca is ideal.

What will need to be done?
• management of the work of Accounting departments in the amount of 75 people within Ukraine (remote departments - remote management) 
• organization and control of all areas of accounting in accordance with IFRS and tax accounting in compliance with the legislation of Ukraine. 
• control over the correctness of registration and reflection in accounting of business transactions (including currency transactions, transactions between group companies) in accordance with accounting policies, IFRS and GAAP, tax legislation of Ukraine, policies and procedures of the Group's parent company. 
• preparation and submission of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and GAAP, tax reporting, transfer pricing reporting, financial reporting in accordance with the Group's requirements. 
• organization and control of mandatory audits, internal audits of the Group, interaction with auditors, tax authorities, external consultants, divisions of the Group. 
• analysis and management of tax risks, including taking into account the legislation of international jurisdictions. 
• monitoring of the internal control system, implementation of changes to improve it.
• monitoring of changes in tax legislation, GAAP and IFRS, standards and policies of the Group, implementation of changes in the company's activities.

• What do we expect from you?

• higher education (accounting, finance or economics); 
 experience as a chief accountant in large companies for at least 3 years (preferably distribution and retail trade, where payments were made to buyers through PPO/PRPO) 
• in-depth knowledge of national and international accounting standards (IFRS), tax legislation of Ukraine. 
• professional certificates (DipIFR, CIPA, ACCA) will be an advantage. 
 It is desirable to have experience working with business transactions in the field of foreign economic activity (export/import), including those subject to transfer pricing; 
• experience of successfully passing Big Four audits, tax audits.
• confident user of 1C 8.3, Excel, LIGA ZAKON, MEDOK, VCHASNO, SAP. 
• English at the Upper-Intermediate level (B2)
• high organizational skills, ability to work with a team. 
• analytical thinking and a systemic approach, ability to work with a large amount of information while adhering to strict deadlines, stress resistance.
