Senior TAX Analyst (EU Countries)

 

What can you expect?

As a Senior TAX Analyst for EU countries, you can expect to handle tax compliance and reporting for multiple jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to local and international tax laws. The role involves analyzing tax data, preparing filings, and providing strategic tax advice to optimize the company's financial performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with audits, and stay updated on changing tax regulations within the EU. Additionally, you'll play a key role in minimizing tax risks and ensuring efficient tax processes across the company.

We will relay on you to:

 

  • Preparation of value added tax and corporate income tax calculations for our group companies in Europe
  • Communication with internal customers to clarify doubts and inaccuracies
  • Control of recognition of economic events in terms of correctness of tax settlements,
  • Cooperation with other departments (PTP, OTC, RTR) to minimize the risk of erroneous accounting affecting tax settlements
  • Analysis and reconciliation of tax accounts
  • Support during the annual audit
  • Ongoing monitoring of changes in tax regulations
  • Contact with tax offices, participation in tax audits

What you need to have:


  • At least 2 -3 years of experience in accounting and tax departments, preparation of VAT and CIT returns
  • Practical knowledge of taxes including income tax settlements
  • Higher education (preferred faculties: finance, economics, accounting, taxes)
  • Very good knowledge of English or German
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • Welcome knowledge of SAP program
  • Analytical skills, good organization of work and readiness to learn
  • Knowledge of European tax regulations will be an added advantage
