Student / Trainee QA

DevCom is looking for a Student / Trainee QA who can work in the Lviv office of the company!

The benefits of our student program:

About project:

Country: USA

Project specifics: Inventory tool management system for emergency services .

Core functions of the tool: registration of utilized supplies and materials, informing regarding issues and problems as well as requesting additional items of supplies and materials during the emergency call

The team consists of 20 people

Required Skills:

Mandatory:

- Completed thorough testing courses are a mandatory requirement

- English - Upper-Intermediate or higher (written and spoken)

- Living in Lviv (ability to work in office)

- Basic understanding of software testing theory

- Basic understanding of the software development process

- Familiar with the design and development of test documentation (test case, bug report, checklist)

- Familiar with SDLC/STLC

- Basic knowledge of HTML

- Good knowledge of Database (be able to write database queries to verify data as part of testing)

- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum

- Ability to analyze and structure information

- Excellent attention to detail

- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team

- A logical, curious, and analytical mindset with a desire to interrogate data

- Excellent presentation and communication skills

Nice to have:

- Final year student or young specialist in the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)

- Familiar with API testing (Postman/Swagger)

- Being familiar with Jira will be a plus

- Basic understanding of the client-server application architecture

- Basic understanding of LLMs (ChatGPT etc.) and prompt engineering
