- Joined the team as a volunteer assisting with food kits distribution, and recognized the need to bring structure to the operations — ensuring people receive aid safely and with dignity.
- Developed and implemented a system for booking appointments, planning distributions and tracking of humanitarian aid. Spearheaded the transition from paper-based tracking through Google Sheets to Kobo forms combined with custom-built tools based on MySQL, and finally to a centralised Activity Info database. Successfully managed data for 12,000+ beneficiaries across Protection, MHPSS, and Shelter/NFI sectors. This includes thousands of distributed items and conducted sessions, case management files, MPCA, C4P and UCT cash transfers, BoQs for 100+ repairs, and thousands of hotline calls and outbound SMS messages.
- Engineered a Telegram chatbot that provides information on current projects, allows users to sign up for sessions, visits, or request assistance, and serves as a community feedback mechanism (CFM).
- Designed visual identities for a wide range of projects, including posters, banners, leaflets, flyers.
- As part of a major multi-sectoral project with Caritas Switzerland, created a Power BI dashboard that enabled managers to monitor key indicators in real time and supplied necessary data and visualizations for narrative and MEAL reports.
- Developed a web application that optimises the verification of field data entered into Activity Info, generates printable documents and facilitates work with the Building Blocks and SIDAR deduplication platforms.
- Working alongside the project manager and the partner’s technical adviser, set up a light and medium shelter repairs program from scratch, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), trackers, data structures, and registration and monitoring forms.
- Served as a focal point for Swiss and Italian partners, assisted in hosting delegations, and conducting monitoring visits to the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
- Led the due diligence process and authored a successful project proposal — including needs assessment and budget planning — which secured funding and enabled implementation of our first project with partners such as ACTED, DRC, and Nonviolent Peaceforce.
