Workplace occupational health assessments and identification of control measures. Assisting HSE Department in recognition of occupational diseases. Liaison with medical insurance provider to ensure that medical service is provided as per agreed contract. Monitoring, investigating, analyzing, reporting and advising on absence issues and supporting KCA Deutag strategy of managing absence, return to work policy and work related injury cases. Organization of Health promotion campaigns, seminars and courses. Provision of medical advice to Company HSE and HR departments.

Coordination of medical services provided at remote site facilities (offshore/onshore).

Ensure that the standards are implemented as per client requirements, International SOS standards and applicable international standards. Implement training program on each site for medics/nurses/physician as required. Coordination of national medic / physician development programme. Development of Emergency Response Plans. Advise in selecting and maintaining Emergency Equipment and Triage facilities. Provide 24 hour coverage of first line offshore medical and consultation services for installation personnel when it is required. Coordinate and supervise medics during operational emergencies. Ensure that occupational health requirements are provided and maintained on all offshore/onshore facilities and that the asset complies with current health and hygiene legislation. Monitor written, computerized reports, statistics and referral letters. Monitor stocks of medications and equipment on each facility. Support on replacement, repair and servicing when required. Assess plans for new site medical facility set up (personnel, clinics, medevac facilities, etc.) and identify additional requirements (if any). Develop a detailed task-delivery schedule and assist with timely provision of the required medical support facilities (equipment, supplies etc) to the highest industry and Company standard. Provide technical support by coordinating with medical equipment suppliers for medical electronic equipment and associated hard/software problems. Prepare reports to Director daily/weekly/monthly as per reporting schedule. Prepare reports for Clients daily/weekly/monthly as per reporting schedule. Management of ISOS Training department. Replace site medics (onshore and offshore as needed), if necessary for prolonged period of time. Medical duty in Clinic and Occupational Health Clinic in accordance with request or schedule.

Medical Officer on offshore oil rig, responsible for first aid, stabilization and first-line treatment of injured personnel as well as for taking of health and wellness of oil rig crew (~250 personnel)
