We are seeking an experienced and qualified Finance Manager - Reporting & Compliance to oversee statutory financial reporting and compliance across our group of companies. The role will ensure that all local and international reporting requirements are fulfilled accurately and on time by collaborating closely with local accounting firms, auditors, and tax authorities in multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate must combine strong technical accounting expertise with excellent communication and coordination skills to ensure global compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Statutory Reporting & Compliance
- Coordinate and manage statutory reporting obligations across all group entities.
- Ensure financial statements comply with local GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee the preparation and timely submission of official accounting reports, tax filings, and regulatory returns in each jurisdiction.
- Taxation & VAT
- Monitor and manage international taxation and VAT compliance requirements.
- Liaise with local accountants and tax advisors to ensure accuracy of filings and adherence to local tax regulations.
- Support management in understanding cross-border tax implications, transfer pricing considerations, and regulatory risks.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison with external accounting firms, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with internal finance teams to support reporting accuracy and compliance.
- Provide guidance to local finance staff on reporting standards and best practices.
- Internal Controls & Consolidation
- Review and consolidate management and statutory reports from multiple subsidiaries for internal reporting.
- Work with the Group Finance team to strengthen internal reporting and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure alignment with company policies and international accounting standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional Certification:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant), ACCA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or an equivalent international professional accounting qualification.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of professional accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in international taxation and VAT.
- Proven track record coordinating with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory authorities.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and international accounting standards.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across geographies and cultures.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage.
