Hey there! I'm Yevhen, the head of the SEO Team at UM, a performance marketing agency specializing in Shopify projects.

UM's adventure began in 2020 when passionate guys wanted to create a «different» agency. We've been working hard on our culture code to do well in the marketing business. As we expand, we're excited to invite a Junior SEO Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Junior SEO Specialist, you will be an integral part of our SEO team, working alongside experienced professionals to enhance our clients' online presence. Your role will involve researching keywords to uncover high-traffic opportunities within various e-commerce niches. You will optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, and on-page elements, to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.

In addition, you will assist in developing and executing link-building strategies to boost domain authority. Monitoring and analyzing website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console will be critical to your role, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. You will also perform technical SEO audits and recommend fixes to enhance website health and performance.

Staying updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices will be crucial. You will collaborate with content creators, web developers, and other team members to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all projects. Regularly generating reports on SEO performance and providing actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders will be a significant part of your responsibilities.

Our Ideal Candidate:

is a passionate and detail-oriented individual with a keen interest in SEO and digital marketing. You should have proficient English skills, a minimum B1 level, and a solid understanding of basic SEO principles and digital marketing concepts.

You should be familiar with SEO tools such as Ahrefs and Google Analytics and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential, as you will work closely with our team and clients.

We value someone who can work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A desire to learn and stay updated with industry trends and developments is crucial.

Preferred qualifications include previous internship or experience in SEO or digital marketing, basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS), and an understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce.
