Freightender is a fast-growing logistics procurement platform and supports many large multinationals with streamlining their freight sourcing and rate management operations. We are a lean and mean company but to keep up with our growth we need to expand our organizational structure and that is why we are looking for a Java Developer to play a leading and guiding role in one of our product development teams.
Responsibilities
- Writing clean, readable, and maintainable code;
- Take ownership of different projects;
- Develop and review new concepts;
- Work together with different colleagues in IT and Product Management;
- Guide IT, colleagues, in the right direction of the product vision .
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Frontend engineering ;
- Strong knowledge of Angular, Springboot, and Spring Security;
- DevOps understanding or experience is nice to have;
- Affinity with logistics is nice to have;
- Ability to work independently.
Your skills and experience:
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 (fixed width, adaptive and responsive layout, pixel-perfect markup);
- Very good understanding and minimum of 3 years working experience with Angular 2+, JavaScript/TypeScript (ES5, ES6+);
- Experience in server configuration (nginx), CI/CD, Websockets, CDN, and other modern frontend/web technologies is a big plus;
- Passion to continuously learn new technologies and be up to date with the technologies you already know (HTML5, Javascript, etc.);
- Figma, Zeplin and/or Avocode;
- Consuming REST APIs;
- Source control and GIT;
- Web Socket implementations (SocksJS);
- Ant Design, webpack, highchairs.
