Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM), Head of Programmes (Humanitarian), and the direct?supervision of the Programme Officer (MHPSS), the incumbent will contribute to the implementation of IOM's Mental ?Health and Psychosocial Programme activities across Ukraine.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
- Support the alignment of MHPSS programming at field level with IOM's operational plans and national?priorities, in close coordination with the supervisor, the Hub Leads, and other relevant units at Hub Level, contributing to mainstreaming and integrate MHPSS into other sectors.
2. Contribute to the design, implementation, and quality assurance of MHPSS interventions, providing ?technical guidance and operational support to field teams.
3. Support and supervise the work of field teams in the West, South, Center, North, and East of Ukraine, ?in close coordination with the MHPSS Programme Officer, ensuring consistent implementation.
4. Assist in project development, including drafting proposals, preparing reports, public information ?materials, and publications.
5. Support programmatic reporting by contributing to timely collection, review, and synthesis of inputs ?from field teams and partners. Contribute to monitoring and evaluation by assisting in the development ?and application of M&E tools and frameworks for MHPSS activities.
6. Coordinate training efforts and capacity-building activities for local authorities, NGOs, associations, and ?civil society actors, and IOM staff, consultants, implementing partners on MHPSS approaches and ?tools.
7. Support data collection, needs assessments, analysis and research, and contribute recommendations ?to promote psychosocial well-being and inform evidence-based programming.
8. Support the adaptation of MHPSS materials and methodologies to the local context, ensuring cultural ?and contextual relevance, as well as translation accuracy.
9. Collaborate with local stakeholders and participate in coordination activities at field level, ensuring ?regular information exchange and supporting the supervisor in maintaining effective partnerships.
10. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in clinical, counselling, social or educational psychology, counselling, anthropology, mental health, humanities or social sciences with at least two years of professional experience; or
- Master's degree in above-mentioned fields.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience working on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) programmes (required).
- Experience supervising staff or teams at the community or field level (required).
- Strong command and ability to communicate fluently on technical MHPSS topics in Ukrainian and English (required), proficiency in Russian is desirable.
- Experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of project activities (required).
- Experience in data management and reporting while ensuring compliance with data protection guidelines (required).
- Experience working in accordance with the Interagency Standing Committee (IASC) guidelines on MHPSS in emergency settings (desirable).
SKILLS
- Skills incoordination and liaison with different government authorities and local actors.
- Team supervision and coordination skills.
- Strong communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders, including individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to contribute to training and knowledge-sharing initiatives in MHPSS.
Languages
For this position, fluency in English and Ukrainian is required.
