Lead Cloud Solution Architect

Kyivstar is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Solution Architect to join our dynamic team and drive the establishment of an innovative Cloud Technology Center of Excellence. 

This role requires building a team and developing a business, focused on offering AWS and Azure services and solutions. 

The Lead Solution Architect will play a key role in establishing Kyivstar's Cloud Technology Center of Excellence. The Сenter will focus on Data&AI Professional Services. The primary objective is to promote cloud technologies and migration services to B2B/B2G customers regionally and beyond.

Requirements:

• 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, focusing on AWS and Azure services.
• Strong experience in implementing and migrating on-premises or cross-cloud workloads, experience in complex IT solutions and Hybrid Cloud solution projects.
• Experience in conducting solution assessments and selecting optimal cloud/hybrid architecture approaches to enhance and migrate existing infrastructure that seamlessly integrate on-premises and cloud-based resources, leveraging the strengths of both environments.
• Proven ability to design complex Solutions based on future-proof architectures that can adapt to evolving business needs over time.
• Practical usage AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, VPC, Network Firewall, RDS, DynamoDB, MWAA, KMS, Security Hub, GuardDuty) and Azure (Azure SQL, ACS, AKS, App Service, Event Grid, Event Hub, Synapse, Fabric, Batch, Functions, Defender) services.
• Experience in provisioning cloud networking architectures in a DEV/QA/PROD environment, utilizing Virtual Networks, VPN, Express Route/Direct Connect, Network Security Groups, and Load Balancers.
• Knowledge of best security practices centered around cloud 
• Experience in Data Analytics, Data Platforms, Data Model (RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases).
• High Availability & Disaster Recovery experience - Multi-region Deployment, Backup and Restore
• Proven ability to excel in customer-facing roles, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• English – Fluent
• Certificates - Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is a plus

 Responsibilities:

• Understand customers’ overall data estate, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions
• Apply technical knowledge to architect solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data Platform, and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments, including key analytics and AI technologies 
• Ensure that solution exhibits high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
• Implement robust security measures, including access controls, encryption, and monitoring, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of customer data in the cloud environments.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating new security practices as needed.
• Collaborate and share with the technical community while educate customers
