Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Bookkeeper for a full-time remote position. This hybrid role combines accurate bookkeeping with general administrative support to ensure smooth financial operations and office efficiency across our programs. You'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks in a dynamic, education-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping:
  • Record daily transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses using QuickBooks.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR): process vendor invoices, issue payments, prepare client invoices, and follow up on collections.
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain general ledger, track petty cash, and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Assist with payroll processing, basic financial reporting (monthly/quarterly), and budget tracking.
  • Support year-end closes, tax preparations, and audits as needed.


  • Administrative Support:
  • Handle data entry, filing, and organization of digital/physical records.
  • Assist with scheduling, email correspondence, calendar management, and meeting preparation.
  • Support HR tasks such as onboarding documentation and employee records.
  • Manage inventory, and coordinate basic operational needs.
  • Provide general support to the team, including report preparation and communication with vendors/partners.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative roles.
  • English language proficiency
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Google Workspace.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Associate's degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred; bookkeeping certification is a bonus.
  • Reliable equipment, high-speed internet, and a dedicated remote workspace are required.

Remuneration: USD 1500 - 2000 monthly (depending on experience)
