Software Development Engineer in Test (Java/C#)

We’re seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to help us build a more accessible web for everyone. In this role, you’ll combine your Java and C# expertise with a passion for quality assurance to develop robust automation testing solutions for our accessibility testing engine.

Our client is a market-leading web and mobile accessibility software company focused on providing accessibility automation to enterprises. Their AI-enabled products save time and reduce risk via proprietary discovery and analysis algorithms that integrate directly into software development pipelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES
— Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks using Java and C#
— Extend the functionality and coverage of supported test automation frameworks
— Ensure seamless integration and consistency across automation frameworks through collaboration with the development team
— Proactively identify and resolve potential issues through the creation of practical test cases
— Participate in the Scrum process, contributing to planning, estimating, and delivering features and bug fixes
— Champion code quality best practices, utilizing tools like SonarQube, ReSharper, and more
— Work closely with other engineers to enhance the testability and maintainability of code

REQUIREMENTS
— 2+ years of experience with Java/C# programming languages with a focus on test-driven development
— Solid experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium)
— Familiarity with testing libraries such as JUnit, NUnit, and TestNG
— Experience with building test frameworks or designing test suites from the ground up
— Knowledge of code quality tools (SonarQube, ReSharper, etc.)
— Understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline implementation using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps
— Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
— Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs
— Upper-intermediate English, both verbal and written
