Account manager

Lufthansa German Airlines search for Account manager (with knowledge of English) to join our professional team (temporary till December 2020).

Requirement profile:

• Previous experience as Account manager is of advantage;
• Fluent speaking and reading English language is a must;
• High communication skills and stress resistance;
• Initiative and creative in non-standard situations, ability to solve problems;
• Travel Industry/Aviation Industry experience is required;
• Travel experience and knowledge of geography would be a plus for understanding work specification.

Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive preparation of contract negotiations (incl. quotations) in cooperation with the Manager Account Steering;
• Negotiate contracts with existing corporate accounts & TMCs with clear focus on revenue quality and growth of business;
• Negotiate contracts with high potential / high volume companies identified / developed via the Manager New Business & SME (if applicable);
• Monthly evaluation of portfolio development together with Manager Account Steering. Identifying new revenue potential in existing portfolio and act as a real sales entrepreneur in developing and implementing new products in order to stimulate further revenue growth;
• Arrange and prepare timely and comprehensive customer visits based on sales visit preparations by the Manager Account Steering;
• Initiate, organize & carry out sales promotion activities as well as incentive and ad hoc deals;
• Act as a distribution consultant when it comes to existing and future new booking channels and/or methods in order to optimize LH Group & JV revenue and distribution costs;
• Act as the spearhead for the timely and effective distribution and collection of information to and from the customer and travel agents with the purpose of achieving sales and further cooperation opportunities.
